Host -Mel Cranenburgh

Melissa Cranenburgh is a Melbourne-based writer, editor and broadcaster. She has been the acting editor and long-term associate editor of the Big Issue, as well as co-editor of its annual fiction edition. She is a regular co-host on 3RRR’s The Reading Room and her work has featured in Radio National’s Books and Arts, the Sydney Morning Herald and more.

Podcast Producer – Lisa Gye

Lisa recently “retired” from life as an academic and is now doing all the things she loves – riding her bike, editing video and audio for various projects, helping out at CERES in propagation and volunteering at RRR. She recently completed a film, in collaboration with Andrew Dodd and six students (Alex, Dani, Jakeb, Ben, Don and Johnno), about The Warrigal Creek Massacre. It premiered in Stratford, Gippsland in April 2018 and several more screening events were held throughout last year. There are more screenings happening in 2019 (see link above for details). Andrew and Lisa are currently working together on another film. When she’s not in the garden or the studio, she likes hanging out with her kittens, Bootsy Collins and Tiger, pup Charlie, watching the mighty Tigers and reading non-fiction.
